Image Rights Policy

 

Lorena Arias Penagos, as the author of artworks that include portraits or other representations of individuals, is committed to respecting the integrity and dignity of those depicted in her work, whether through commissioned portraits or artistic projects.

 

1. Commissioned Works

Portraits created on commission will not be published or used in exhibitions, social media, or other media without the prior consent of the client or depicted individual. Upon accepting the commission, a usage agreement may be signed.

 

2. Artistic Projects

For personal or conceptual projects, when photographic references of third parties are used, prior authorization is sought or the artist works with royalty-free images or those she has created herself.

 

3. Rights of the Depicted Person

Any individual portrayed in a work has the right to request that their image not be used for commercial or public purposes, unless a usage agreement has been previously signed.

 

4. Artist’s Rights

The artist retains copyright over all her artworks. This includes the right to exhibit, sell, or reproduce the image of the work (not the person depicted), unless an agreement specifies otherwise.
